The waxed concrete is a mortar (sand and cement mixture) which is colored in the mass by natural pigments to obtain the chosen color. This mortar is mixed with a binder which makes it possible to obtain the "concrete" material; this will be applied to the trowel. The "concrete" surface is covered with a finishing wax that gives a satin decorative coating, called waxed concrete.
Used as a floor covering or on walls, waxed concrete can create a material effect. It is a very resistant material: indoor and outdoor, entrance halls, hotel receptions, restaurants, offices, shops,... Aesthetically, waxed concrete is nice and bright.
BENEFITS OF WAXED CONCRETE
The waxed concrete is extremely resistant and easily washable with very mild cleaning products as well as it has the ability to retain some of the heat that is reflected on its surface, making it a comfortable floor.
